Vintage 30th Anniversary V72 ReIssued Electric Guitar – Boulevard Black (V72-30TH)
Vintage 30th Anniversary V72 ReIssued Electric Guitar. Celebrating three decades of fine guitar design, the Vintage 30th Anniversary V72 ReIssued Electric Guitar in Boulevard Black is an exceptionally versatile semi-hollow instrument. Frequently referred to by professionals as a true “sonic problem-solver” for both studio work and live performances, the V72 effortlessly balances classic chime and twang with rich, acoustic warmth.
Crafted with a chambered American alder body featuring a precision-cut ‘F’ hole, this guitar operates as a natural acoustic soundbox. The semi-hollow construction enhances low-end resonance and sustain while maintaining lightweight, contoured playing comfort. Wrapped in a high-gloss Boulevard Black finish with cream body binding and a striking green pearloid scratchplate, the V72 delivers a standout visual presence on any stage.
The sonic core of this 30th Anniversary edition is powered by high-spec Wilkinson Platinum Series pickups, featuring a neck soapbar and a bridge double-coil humbucker. Managed via CTS potentiometers and a 3-way selector switch, this pickup combination spans a vast tonal spectrum, from crisp, glassy top-end bite to deep, syrupy jazz chords and overdriven rock leads.
Designed for fluid playability, the hard rock maple neck features a classic Vintage ‘soft C’ profile, paired with a matching 10-inch radius maple fingerboard adorned with elegant pearl block inlays. Top-tier hardware—including a GraphTech nut, a Wilkinson WVFS hardtail bridge, and Wilkinson WJ55 tuning machines—ensures impeccable intonation and tuning stability.
