Rathbone R3SRCE No. 3 Guitar Spruce | RW CW EQ Grand-Auditorium

The Rathbone R3SRCE No. 3 is a beautifully balanced electro-acoustic guitar designed for players who demand rich tone, comfort, and versatility. Built with a solid spruce top and rosewood back and sides, this guitar delivers one of the most sought-after tone combinations in the acoustic world, making it a true fingerstyle dream and an exceptional all-round performer.

Spruce provides clarity, projection, and dynamic response, while rosewood adds depth, harmonic complexity, and powerful low-end presence. Together, they produce a tone with deep bass, shimmering highs, and a naturally scooped midrange, allowing every note to ring clearly and articulate beautifully. The rosewood body also enhances natural resonance and overtones, giving chords and melodic passages exceptional richness and sustain.

Grand Auditorium Body – Power Meets Comfort

The Grand Auditorium body shape is where the Rathbone No. 3 truly shines. Sharing the same scale length as an Orchestra Model but with body dimensions closer to a dreadnought, it offers the best of both worlds. The larger body cavity delivers impressive bass response and projection, while maintaining clarity and balance across the tonal spectrum.

Despite its size, the R3SR- CE remains extremely comfortable to play. The elegant waist contours ensure it sits naturally on the knee and hangs comfortably from a strap, making it ideal for long practice sessions, live performances, and studio work.

Electro-Acoustic Versatility

Equipped with a cutaway design and onboard EQ system, the Rathbone R3SR-CE is ready for the stage or studio. The cutaway allows easy access to higher frets, while the built-in electronics provide reliable amplified tone with precise tonal control.
