Tanglewood DBT DCE SB G Dreadnought Electro Acoustic Guitar

Tanglewood DBT DCE SB G Dreadnought Electro Acoustic Guitar.  The most recognised guitar shape – and regarded as the all-rounder because it offers a good balance of bottom end with highs, allowing it to cover a lot of ground for players who need adaptability.

The classic Dreadnought shape produces a robust voice with low-end power, a snappy midrange, and strong, clear treble notes. The guitar will appeal to flat pickers and lovers of traditional guitar shapes and tones. The cutaway gives access to the higher frets, similar to an electric guitar which makes it ideal for rhythm and lead alike. Perfect for the electric player who needs some acoustic tones.

Perhaps more than any other shape, the Dreadnought remains linked with roots music like bluegrass and folk, in part because of its traditional role in defining those sounds. Pickers and strummers with an aggressive attack will love our Dreadnought’s blend of power and articulation, which allows for clear lead lines and crisp, driving rhythms.

  • Deep low end with driving rhythms
  • Good for: strumming and picking

Tanglewood TWCR DCE Electro Acoustic Guitar

Tanglewood TWCR DCE Electro Acoustic Guitar

Tanglewood TWCR DCE Electro Acoustic Guitar. The Crossroads series pays homage to the style and sound of classic instruments from 1930’s America. Michael Sanden selected the timbers, making the tops a precise measurement so they flex and respond to the players attack.

He then braced the instrument with his own patterns to give each guitar its own personality. He wanted to make a guitar that would have the sound that any musician, professional or amateur could appreciate. To make the guitar look authentic to the 1930’s era, Michael added a dark stain to the timbers that we call Whiskey Barrel to make the Crossroads look historic and simply elegant.
