Yorke Edition was founded in 1969 by Rodney Slatford OBE and has produced editions of over 100 works, all carefully prepared and researched to include a wealth of new material for students and children. All publications are printed in well-engraved editions for clarity and ease of reading.

Grading System for Yorke Edition Publications
Wide divergence of classification between examination systems makes it hard to be precise when assessing the difficulty of works.         Grades given here roughly conform to standards recognised in Britain, many pieces having been set by the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music, Trinity College and the Guildhall School of Music. Some works appear regularly on the lists of international competitions; dates given in the catalogue are when they were first set.
