Islander ukuleles creates affordable, high-quality Hawaiian instruments with great playability and sound quality based on the more advance Kanile'a 'Ukulele design.

Islander ukuleles are also committed to reforestation and sustainability. In 2019, they pledged to plant one koa tree for every Islander ukulele built. They also released a CD featuring Kanilea artists, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting native Hawaiian forests.
